Experience: Bitter and Sweet,
I pledged and fulfilled my commitment to the past regime. I was also honored for my academic achievements. I have used my platform (DiamondOnline) to spotlight promising talent and professionals within the Liberian community and to raise pressing issues affecting the community, which have garnered the attention of the national government back home. There are withheld evidence. I could pen down a novel about my experience as a student in Cyprus that my slot on this portal won't contain but all I can say it's been a journey that has not only given me purpose but has also fundamentally changed who I am. Through the ups and downs, the challenges and triumphs, I've emerged stronger and more determined. There were occasional setbacks. Hence, every moment has been worth it which is obviously glaring on me.

Cyprus provided me a conducive leaning atmosphere and an exposure of new things, including historic sites seeing and others As a Liberian with the mindset of togetherness and growth amongst others, I accepted the call of the interim Leadership headed by Ms. Kimberline A C Anna to serve on the constitution committee, where I was later appointed as Secretary General and the work was done by the team and approved by the body. I later contested as VPA and won on a white ballot, and henceforth my involvement with the Students community began more intensive but worth it. living in Cyprus was more like an eventual for me. It was my very first time leaving my family for such a long time but my eyes were set up on the finish line. Though there were ticks and tines, and I even lost my Dad in the process but I remain very grateful to the LSANC community for standing by me as family in the absence of my blood relatives and by the grace of God I was able to complete my studies with a very good grade point. May God bless us all.

Experience: My time in Cyprus as a young graduate school student unfolded a plethora of experices, some favorable and inhumane. Life in Cyprus is straight forward, it is generally an educational hub and not a land of greener pasture as perceived by most Africans. There's no shortage of racism but it is at a very low rate. Overall the goal was to attain quality education and CIU exceeded my expectations. The environment was student friendly, and multicultural. I got to expand my professional network by engaging students from across the globe and today I'm proud to call myself a FOX. During my time in Cyprus I affiliated with the LSANC as a member of the association and briefly as the Vice President of the Soccer Team. The association has shown promise in handling and managing the affairs of students, with external support to empower the association, great this can be achieved.

During my time studying abroad in Northern Cyprus (TRNC), I encountered a mix of enriching experiences and challenges. The region's rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes offered a backdrop for exploration and growth. Despite facing bureaucratic hurdles, the affordability of education and opportunities. My involvement with the LSANC made the journey worthwhile. Serving as the Veteran's Community Chair allowed me to contribute positively to the community. Near East University (NEU) provided a supportive environment where I flourished personally and formed lasting friendships. Overall, my study abroad experience in TRNC was transformative, offering invaluable learning opportunities and unforgettable memories.”

Cyprus provided a real life experience of independence, professionalism and resilience in the pursuit of higher education. Partially involved, but fully supported of the initiative. My time in Cyprus and with LSANC was very welcoming, despite economic challenges, it prepared me for a realistic understanding of attainable goals and the benefits of accredited foreign higher education.
